Fatih Municipality took its place with various works at the 2nd Artcontact Istanbul Contemporary Art Fair, where thousands of local and foreign art works were exhibited.
ArtContact Istanbul Contemporary Art Fair, held between 26-29 May and held for the second time this year, opened its gates to its visitors. Fatih Municipality took its place at the fair held at Dr. Architect Kadir Topbaş Performance and Art Center with selected works from the exhibitions Yerle Gök Arasında Bir Nakkaş: Nusret Çolpan (A Miniaturist Between Earth and Sky: Nusret Çolpan), Evdeyken Neyi Özledim (What I Missed When I Was At Home) and Tarihten Tuvale (From History To Canvas). In addition, Fatih Mayor M. Ergün Turan visited the stand of Fatih Municipality, toured the fair and invited all art enthusiasts to the 2nd Artcontact Istanbul Contemporary Art Fair.
NEARLY 4,000 ART WORKS WELCOMED THEIR VISITORS
In the four-day fair, which will be accompanied by several music concerts and workshops, galleries from Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa and various cities as well as many galleries from abroad take part in this international art event. Nearly 4,000 works of more than a thousand artists are presented to the visitors at the fair.
